Come and try Yoga. Relax and strengthen your Body and mind.

Why Yoga, Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental well being. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.

Most studies suggest yoga is a safe and effective way to increase physical activity, especially strength, flexibility and balance.

My Class is suitable for new and experienced Yoga Students. We are able to integrate new starters with old hands.

The class is held on Mondays at the following times

8.15 – 9.45 pm at St Michaels School, Barnard Road, Galleywood CM2 8RR. Hall can be accessed via service road between the Infant and junior School, at end of road turn right onto school playground, park in front of school Hall to righthand side, enter hall down steps, entrance door is on right hand side.

If you have any of the following conditions please inform the teacher

1. High Blood pressure
2. Conditions associated with heart disease
3. Cancer or benign tumours
4. Epilepsy including petit mal
5. Diabetes
6. Meniere’s disease
7. Detached Retina
8. Aids
9. MS (Multiple Sclerosis)
10. ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis)
11. Recent post-operative conditions
12. New Students who are pregnant.

Medical advice should be obtained if any of the above conditions are diagnosed.

Yoga is not preclusive but may require specialist teaching or medical approval.
